I'm unable to see any of the videos. It's stuck on "one moment please... What's up?
I am working on a Windows XP at the moment. I have been able to watch them until I uploaded my video. Then, all of a sudden, everything went black screen.
Also, I am operating on Windows Explorer, I don't know what version, but I think it's 8.
...............
It is challenging to run video on older operating systems, here are a few tips that may help:
If this happens first make sure you have the most current version of your browser and flash.
Also see if you can still view videos on sights like Youtube or Vimeo, or is it just Beckinfield?
Also please tell me if you can view this video? http://www.viddler.com/explore/cheezburger/videos/1009/
A lot of times these problems are flash related.
Would you please follow this link, and try updating your browser to the latest version of flash.
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
IF that fails to work:
I would recommended going to the adobe sight and upgrading to Flash Player 10.1
You can download it by going here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
it will be under the big word Download, that is to your top left when you go to the page.
was that a yes or no if you can check the site in another browser?
IF that fails to work:
1) Right click on any video while it is playing. ((or not in your case))
2) A popup box will include the following tabs: Display, Privacy, Local Storage, Microphone and Camera.
3) Under the Display tab, UNCHECK the 'Enable hardware acceleration' tickbox.
4) Refresh your browser and video should play back correctly now.
Just remember when you update flash to go ahead and close your browser and reopen it.
Honestly I always reboot after I install on a PC, just to make sure updates stick. So you might try that too.
IF this fails to work:
You might try uninstalling and reinstalling flash, or downgrading to flash 9 so that it will be more stable with xp.
the instructions to do these things, or to get help with flash, try the flash support page: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/
If that fails you can also try updating your video driver.
